Welcome and thank you for coming to visit us at Goldmatt Golden Retrievers. We would like to share with you a little of our lives with our Golden Retrievers and hope that you enjoy your visit with us.

The Golden Retriever is a dog that thrives on being a member of your family, they have impeccable temperaments, they are loving, smart, have wonderful personalities, love a game and are a pleasure to own and be owned by. Golden Retrievers live to please you.

At Goldmatt our aim is to produce Goldens that are capable of being first and foremost wonderful family pets, will do well in the Show Ring, at Obedience and Agility and all other Dog Sports and would be suitable to be used as Guide Dogs, Pets as Therapy Dogs and Companion Dogs.

We breed for Temperament, Soundness and Conformation. All our dogs are from wonderful Australian and English Bloodlines and all our Breeding Stock are tested for Hereditary Hip, Elbow, Heart and Eye Conditions and have Certificates.

This website is dedicated to our Son Matthew who was Stillborn in 1983.
Our Prefix Goldmatt is “Gold” for our Goldens and “Matt” is for Matthew.
This is our way of being able to share our love of our beautiful dogs with Matthew.
